    It seems ok on close-in simple scenes..see attached But longer range and complex scenes (lots of cars, trees, trash cans), it fails tracking 70% of the time * It also likes to track to the Left but doesn't like tracking to the Right... (Maybe its a Democrat?)

    Little to no difference in a fixed lens 5442 vs the 3449 Pro as far as FOV. They both come in 2.8 and 3.6mm There is a 5442 variable focus which would give you more distance. You have to decide how much distance you need

    The 5442 is a great camera. But it doesn’t have white LEDs or warning flashing lights you first requested and the mic isn’t as good and has no two way talk . It would need a LOT of ambient white light to run in color. If B&W with IR is ok with you then yes it’s a great choice
