    Here is a quick look at the new interface with the 4.0 firmware. Almost a smart PSS style with the top tab layout. Chrome is the first half and the NVR is at 2:55, they have just about the same functions.

    You don't even need the "best 4k" cam. The best security solution for most is several fixed cams covering the desired location. A 2mp will show you the same image as a 4k camera.     I see you have the 8P- NVR. This changes the IP address of the cameras so you will not see it with the config tool. This is why I always go with non PoE NVR's and then add my own PoE swith. That way I can address the cameras the way I want. Can you see the IP address of the camera in the NVR...

    In Smart PSS you can not connect to the camera under the NVR list and set IVS for the camera. You need to put the camera's IP address in the device list and then you can see the IVS controls under the camera by right clicking.
