IP Camera not displaying main stream
because this is very very low-end DVR dedicated for 1080p (2Mpx) analog cams.. you have IP 4Mpx cams... it doesn't have enough decoding capability to decode all cams in full stream to display them... you need something better / higher line.. ps. you can try to decrease frame rate on all cams...- steve1225

no, basic sensor technology is similar.. main difference is ISP - image signal processor - which reconstruct color image based on RAW data from the sensor.
