New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

POE or GTFO lol None of that battery nonsense in this thread. The Unifi camera has the package view, but getting locked into their hardware is too much for me =/

My audio in the Blueiris config screen is set to RTSP. Doesn't look like anything special is set up on the reolink side.

I want the white version for the aspect ratio, but I want a black case. So silly it is dependent on color.

DHCP reservations is exactly what your spreadsheet with static IP's is doing, but instead of having to wrangle each device manually the router does it for you. Of course this only works if you allow the cameras access to a router and don't have them physically separate on a non-routed network.

Are you setting the DB cam up with a static IP in the 2.X range before you move it over to the other switch? If the DB cam is defaulting to DHCP (which it sounds like it is considering the 50.127 address) then when it moves to the new LAN it won't get an IP and it won't be connectable. Maybe...

Does the 192.168.2.1 network have a DHCP server or are you setting static IP's? And wireshark to see cameras? Never heard of that. I always use Angry IP scanner or a SADP tool.

Absolutely required on the POE version as well. They do have a Windows app as well as mobile apps. I chose the Windows app on an old laptop plugged into the VLAN the cameras are on to initilize the camera and get HTTP turned on. Then you can use the Web UI from there.

Ugh never used the app and prefer not to. Bummer.

Only if you have a cloud key or nvr that acts as a rtsp relay for the cameras. You cannot get streams directly from the camera as far as I understand. Pretty much DOA for me even though they are really interesting options.

How are you using 2-way? Isn't Reolink a Chinese company making their cameras in China?

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

@MTL4 Definitely meant the blueiris app. The cam is blocked from the internet so I figure the Reolink app wouldn't work. @flynreelow Mind sharing the audio settings for the camera in BI so I can mimic and get this thing running? I just saw a post on the reolink forum that 2-way worked with...

Can someone pinpoint for me the last firmware that allows the two-way communication to work. I have seen people say it works, but I cannot get it to work. I went back a forth with Support a little and they suggested a firmware broke the feature, but didn't know which one. I have been trying to...

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

Seems to be to be similar to a lot of generic AI object lists out there. Not exactly tuned for surveillance.

Oh I think I found the base object list: NAMES: - person - fire hydrant - elephant - skis - wine glass -...

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

Yes, but I am just running the stock rt-detrv2-s.onnx model that comes with it. I am not a wizard so I haven't tried to pull a different model and start that using docker. Plus without GPU acceleration ( just banging it out with a CPU) a smaller model works better I think. Edit: and looking at...

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

I have googled and looked though all sorts of github pages and documentation without a single reference to a object list. However the Blue onyx tool does have a test image feature. If you want to send me some screenshots or links to images with the objects you are curious about I can run them...

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

I am running it in docker on my unraid box and it's working really well. I don't think it's a direct replacement for deepstack or CPAI because last I read the dev doesn't seem to want to iimplement custom models or the coral tpu's which is something I have always wanted to try but CPAI seemed...

    AI: not responding

I just upgraded to .33 and I am getting this now, but I am still using Deepstack :p So I really have no clue what is going on. It was working fine before. When I restart blueiris it says AI is responding and I can get to the Deepstack webpage at 127.0.0.1:82. I rolled back to 5.9.8.5 but it...

Dang for some reason the last update I downloaded was 5.9.9.10 12/8/24. Guess I will try 5.9.9.19 from the drive.

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

How did you only roll back one version? I upgraded to 9.32 and the newest roll back I can get it 5.9.8.5 (10/03/2025). Oh and AI broke in .32 for me. I am still using deepstack because it has been flawless up to this update. Reboot did not fix it.

Is this what AI hardening means in the .25 update notes? I wish you could get more verbose change logs somewhere before updating.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Kinda peeved you have to use one of their softwares for initial , password set up and turning on the web UI, but beyond that I am pretty happy with the camera. I have all my cameras on an internet blocked vlan so I plugged the DB and it got an IP immediately. Then I spun up a quick windows VM...

    Worlds First Review - Dahua DH-IPC-HDW5849H-ASE-LED / IPC-Color4K-T - 2.8mm Turret

So IDK if anyone else had this issue, but I couldn't get my cameras to respond to API commands and it was because I had turned off CGI in Network > Basic Settings. I did firmware upgrades and factory resets and was reconfiguring everything and I guess absent mindedly turned CGI off. No idea...

    Life Expectancy of Dahua cams?

I have a handful of Dahua and Hikvision cams that have been running five-seven years, 24/7, in the Alabama heat with zero failures. One has even spent two summers in an attic space where it gets up to 130℉. Edit: Forgot to say how many years they have been running 24/7.

Interesting. Looks like that is using ONVIF events for triggering. Wonder if there is any timing difference between ONVIF and 433.

Anyone snooped the 433mhz transmissions on this device? I saw that antenna mentioned in the FCC docs. I run a SDR into homeassistant to use all sorts of 433mhz sensors. If this thing uses 433mhz to activate the interior doorbell then it could be used in homeassistant for all sorts of automation.
