    I’d probably start with the switches if you’re having that many of the same issues. How much power and how long of cable runs? Maybe run a temporary extension cord and use instead of POE to see if still occurs

    Can i directly connect a non-onvif IPC to a dahua NVR and use RTSP.

    I’ve never been able to directly connect anything other than their previous brand; FLIR, or dahua oem’s. Everything else has always had to be on a switch with onvif user/pass. Maybe someone can chime in about rtsp but I thought that was for a stream out from nvr not a camera in.

    I wouldn’t worry about secondary non target poisoning as long as bait is secured. Almost everything available is an LD50; a mammal/bird needs to eat 50% of its body weight for a lethal dose.

    Did you remove those 2 screws from first pic and look on back side? If it doesn’t have a button then you’d have to find the 2 points on board to short.

    I agree with broach, you’re going to have to spend at least $700 if you want anything decent. I put the same one in, this optical zoom from clients location is a half mile out.

    Last winter a mouse chewed through a little wire that engages the 4wd, just a fluke I saw it and scotch locked it right before the ice storm hit. Bought a bunch of bait and rodent stations from domyown.com These are in tool shed on back deck, including my 20 year old gamo!

    Did they say how long it took to smoke? I’d always done our family’s and got tired of staying up all night out in the elements when I discovered smoking it for 3-4 hours at 300 came out juicier with a crisper skin than 200 all night.

    Ubuntu Camera Management Software?

    I’ve always wondered as a Linux user why they can’t make Linux based cameras and nvr’s work with my Ubuntu/Mint installs without VM. The only reason every laptop for the last 15 years was dual boot was for cameras and home theater/automation remotes.
