Hello!
I am running BI + Deepstack and running it on high mode (GPU).
I am wanting to have certain regions completely ignored from deepstack analysis. However, I am not wanting to have those sections removed completely from the recordings... only the deepstack analysis.
Is this possible...
Hello,
Just wondering, for beefier systems, i.e. 16/32gb of ram.. how come BI will not utilise more ram? For example, i've got 16GB ram and 10 cameras... yet my RAM normally hovers around 1.9-2.2gb in BI?
Thanks!
Just some follow-up. I've made the adjustments as suggested i.e. changing the buffer to 3 seconds and reduce the number of images sent to DS to 4-5 and set to "motion only".
Here is an example of a missed alert... yet in the alerts pane, it still shows as "nothing found".
Hey everyone,
Hoping to get a bit of help/direction on this.
I am currently running the latest version of blue iris, 5.4.9.16
I am having some really annoying and inconsistent issues with deepstack and motion detections.
For example, BI will correctly trigger motion, and I am happy with how...
I really liked what @silencery did for a wall mounted install. I am stealing this idea :D I ordered a Lenovo M8 (8" screen) tablet and ordered a wall mounted mount by "Makes by Mike".
I am starting to move everything over in my network to ubiquiti.. so far i've got:
1. USG
2. 24 port (USW-Pro-24-PoE)
3. Cloud key Gen 2
4. My blue iris server is an i7-4770 with 16GB of ram (running 8x Dahua 5442 cameras + doorbell)
5. I've also got a qnap NAS.
6. Storage: 8TB (raid) for the...
I figured it would be great to create a central thread / post for some inspiration for others. It will give everyone the opportunity to 'steal' some of your ideas.
Please post up some of your installation photos, racks, blue iris setups, TABLET wall mounted pictures, displays etc.
Is there a way to snooze alerts for X minutes/hours? For example, with my old Ring doorbell I could press snooze for a period of time, whereby essentially the motion detection would still occur, i just would not get alerts to my app.
Hey everyone,
I’ve closed off all incoming ports on my network and VLANd everything for security.
I’ve also setup a VPN for remote access. But the issue is, unless I keep VPN connected 24/7 on my phone I don’t get geo locations updating and most importantly I don’t get push alerts via the BI...
Works great with ExDark.. however, would be great if you could disable built in models from DS, or even BI could tell you which model it is using at the time...
At the moment, I know its ExDark because it says "People" instead of "person" (deepstack default).. but would be nice if it was...
FYI with 4.6.2 release, you can now overlay FPS and bitrate, which is great for debugging/diagnosing, etc.
Add the following as a text overlay..... %f fps | %k kbps
Thoughts?
hmm are you sure? all my other cameras work fine without the object selected... because i dont trust dahua ivs doing the object detection... that's why i am using blue iris deepstack integration..
yes done all this as well. still no luck.
hmm some issues already.. i just installed onto two cameras... whenever i try to add new tripwire or intrusion, the video drops from browser... never an issue before?
It means you can create seperate alerts per object...
i.e .under camera settings --> alerts --> on alert -->
You can add one alert for only people, another alert for cats, etc.
Thanks everyone. Here is some screenshots:

Hello,
I am using BI and have 8 cameras, but for some reason two of my cameras (both IPC-HDW5442TM-AS) wont get any ONVIF triggers from IVR.
I've tried factory reset, latest firmware etc.
As mentioned my other cameras work without any issues. Starting to think it's faulty cameras?
Is there...
So i've got a pretty much brand new SD5A425XA-HNR - 1/1.8" 4mp 25x PTZ... it literally was powered on in the garage for testing and that's it... back in the box we go.. never deployed externally etc.
No issues with it at all. Purchased from Andy.
I am located in Australia.. would rather local...
The issue is in certain countries like Australia, we don’t have API for sms etc. thus it will need a unique sms subscription at 10c per sms.., adds up quickly.
Yes i understand that, but it's not the same. With telegram, it's like a text messaging thread, where you can just view all the images and scroll... vs needing to open individual emails one by one and waiting for them to load, etc.
Hi everyone,
Now that BI has native deepstack integration... what does everyone think of BI adding in native telegram as a means of sending notifications of alerts (obviously, just confirmed/flagged).
I think this is a great option for seeing alerts REMOTELY without needing to add port...
