I get that. I was getting these randomly on the stable versions as well. Only today did it STB with no recording at all. I was hoping the 665 error would point to a specific problem. I've just fired off an email to Ken.
I am getting these errors all afternoon. I just now had time to investigate what's going on. The entire time, NOTHING has been recording - whether clip or alerts.
More than anything, I'd like to know how to keep this from happening. I'm running UI3 version 229, Blue Iris version: 5.7.0.3...
Wow, what's the backstory on this one? The guy standing next to the car while it was hopping the bushes (purple shirt) seemed to get a pretty good view of the driver/tag. Was it a stolen vehicle? And what happened with the video glitching. Seems like the best part is missing.
I will give that a go, thanks. As for the angle, it's never changed, and the detection was nearly 100% prior to the update of the CodeProjectAI to 206. In fact, none of the default settings were change with respect to AI or substream configs. My CPU runs almost non-stop at 100% now too any...
I am struggling to get my AI to work properly after upgrading the CodeProject to 206.
These are my settings for the camera:
Sometimes it catches the same vehicle coming, but not leaving, and other times, it catches them leaving, but not coming.
For example, this video shows the school bus...
I think a lot of it has to do with your location. I'm in a very rural area, and all delivery drivers are super polite and considerate. They even put the boxes inside plastic bags if it's threatening to rain. Even though they're under an 8' porch roof.
Look up Shawn Woods (Mousetrap Monday) on YT. The guy has reviewed hundreds (if not thousands) of traps and products to fight rodents. He reviews/tests them quite objectively with cameras and timers. It is surprising to see how few things actually work.
So I would like a given camera to record with any motion detected by the camera. And I'd like to set up a "trip wire" where if it is crossed, it sends an alert.
Using the motion detection, I have set up zone A to trigger with any movement anywhere in the image.
I set zone B as a line, and...
Windows 10...
I think it's all working smoothly now, thanks for the hand-holding. I'm curious how the ALPR can be implemented in some kind of log/report. Ideally, I'd like to create a record of tags, but can't quite seem connect the dots.
yes, see post above yours... we cross posted. Looks like whatever it downloaded isn't valid, and it's not going to get another copy (keeps trying to used the cached copy)
If I understood the file structure/name I'd go in and manually delete it to force a clean download.
ETA: I found the...
It eventually shows "install" again, but as soon as I click it, it goes back to unknown. Looking at the log it says:
19:54:09: Latest version available is 2.0.6-Beta
19:54:30: Performing Install on module ALPR
19:54:30: Preparing to install module 'ALPR'
19:54:30: Downloading module 'ALPR'...
Ok, so next issue... It's showing 2.0.6-beta now, and after a restart of the system, I see all the options in your screenshot. However, after clicking "install" for the ALPR module, I get this:
Thanks, but no dice. Here's what I get after clicking on that link:
For some reason it's stripping out the file name. Let me try with Chrome instead of brave.
Ah, thank you. I must not have been upgraded with the latest update... I'm still showing 1.6.7-Beta, even though BI is 5.6.9.3. Did you have to update the CodeProject AI separately? It's showing me that 2.0.6-beta is avabile, but the download feature doesn't work.. That's with a hard...
