    Still no love for this very expensive camera. The 25x is much easier to set up and actually works. Here's from the All Clips ... the Alert stops tracking as the truck turns into the driveway. Can't upload to forum... doesn't like my video clips for some reason...

    I had it set on 35... changed it to 30 and it will get tested several times tomorrow (later today). Tracking is set to 300 seconds, so it should have followed me down the driveway and stayed zoomed in on me pretty much all the way to the house.

    I can see the tag as it leaves the driveway... clear as glass, but once I make the turn onto the road, I lose it. It looks like a snowy pic. Does that mean I need to zoom out more?

    I just tested it, and I could see it was following me into the driveway and it turned with me, but within 10 seconds of getting past it, it returned back to the home preset. There are no alerts either, so the settings for these other PTZ cameras I have don't work for this one.

    Hmmm... sounds like that might be more than I'll be able to handle. I guess I'll stick with my monthly time plan settings and let it be a little off for the part of each month. It seems like someone would have come up with something in Blue Iris to handle daily sunrise and sunset schedules...

    It has been tracking vehicles on the road both ways, but just not tracking any vehicles coming down the driveway. I'll try these suggested settings. I see a blue line, yellow line and a red line. One is tripwire, one is intrusion, what is the other?

    What exactly do these links do? Do these set your day/night schedule on a daily cycle instead of a monthly cycle? I tried one and it changed my schedule from orange/purple/orange to solid orange for each month.

    I've tried a bunch of settings... jagged edges won't go away on the small screen of BI. Do these rules look okay? I added Cross on the Intrusion. For some reason, it's not tracking any vehicles coming into the driveway, although it follows them going out just fine.

    I don't see much difference in 12MP and 50MP... width is the same. 12MP in first pic with 50MP in second pic. There may be an issue with the sun blinding the camera in the winter months when it runs lower in the southern sky.

    I'm not sure it would be the same on the weather camera as my phone. I had my phone camera set on 12MP, which is what they claim to be "Ultra-wide." However, it shows 24mm equivalent on the 50MP setting and 13mm equivalent on the 12MP setting, but that's with an f/2.2 aperture lens. Not sure how...

    Here are the three options. First pic is the eastern to southeastern sky. Second pic is more southeastern. The third includes the hous and is the southern view. I probably have too much land view in second two pics.

    The Barn and Carport are both the 25x model. The Pole Tracking Camers is the hi-dolla 45x, front cam is the 180° and mailbox is the 2MP used for LPR.
