Gotcha... that is good to know. I may just go ahead and mount that IR on the barn to see how well it lights up that area in front of the barn.- Sonnie

Not quite following you with that statement. What you see in the image above is all the coverage I have for the barn and the Jeep area at the moment. Daylight looks good... not so good at night.- Sonnie

I have a DI20B (supposedly better than the BI18B) that I was going to install on the service pole, but no longer need it out there. Would it be better to mount it on the house and point it at the shop or at the shop and point it towards the ground area out in front of the shop? If the camera...- Sonnie

I'm going to run a cable out to a switch at the metal barn so we can have WiFi out there and make it a shorter run to the field (to the right of the barn) where our weather camera will be mounted. I also want to install a camera where the yellow circle is on the corner of the barn looking back...- Sonnie

PR picked up a couple of plates, but still getting a lot more non plate snapshots... and still not the first alert in BI. This is Rekor since I changed the settings earlier today. PR missed this one at 4:20 pm. -

I can uncheck this button and I get snapshots without vehicles. Rekor just picked up a car, but PR missed it with a snapshot of the area, no vehicle. When I check that button, I get nothing. -

Yeah... that's what I have, but for some reason no alerts are coming in on Blue Iris... none since the changes I made this morning. Something globally I must have checked that I shouldn't have maybe. I think this was the only global changes I made ... all on the AI tab: -

Apparently, one of those settings that I copied over this morning knocked out all my alert snapshots... as I haven't had an alert since. -

Gotcha... amazing how many threads there are out there on the Internet about this with all kinds of answers on how they fixed it... lol... when there is really nothing to fix. This is good to know. I didn't want to find out that because it has no Internet access I was unprotected. Thanks guys!- Sonnie

Got it setup just like he has it... we'll see how well it does... and I've enlarged my A and B motion areas. However... I've done something to make all my cameras disappear on the Blue Iris program. I have a big black screen. I can double click it and see them full screen, but then escape... -

I can't seem to get it right for Plate Recognizer... keep getting false readings. I've got A>B set up as shown below. Rekor got two plates this morning. PR missed both... although got a partial on one of them. -
Tailscale - No Internet access - but have Internet access
I'm getting two connections because I have two ports on the PC. When I disconnect the camera port, the camera switch is still connected to the main switch, so they still operate, but Tailscale has no Internet. I'm curious if this is common and if Tailscale needs the Internet to function...- Sonnie

I see this in my network settings.... No Internet access for Tailscale. Tailscale is enabled and I have no issues accessing the Internet. My tailscale devices function as they should, at home and away from on on my Android app. I just want to make sure it should be showing No Internet...- Sonnie
