    Hmmm, I've been holding off. I was "Version 5 eligible" but that support expired some time ago. Now that I've installed Version 5 every image has an overlay that says "Blue Iris Evaluation Version." Does that mean that I needed to upgrade to V5 back when the support was active?

    I have a dual NIC in the BI server for two camera subnets and do not allow the BI server to see the internet. It is the only pc on a pfSense subnet and is blocked by pfSense firewall rules. However I am still working on getting the NTP service working on pfSense.

    Maybe your buzzing is when the neighbor runs their microwave oven? I just added a Microseven to a cheap Dahua and... nothing. I'm still running BI-4 but I've never tried audio before. Went to the audio tab and did the obvious stuff. Still nothing.

    Cheap Chinese DH-IPC-HFW4300R-Z which seems to be working, however when I try to log into the camera the browser login form immediately deletes my attempts to enter name/password into the fields.

    Sound Recording

    I have a few cameras where a microphone would be helpful. Is there a common weatherproof microphone that is known to work well with Dahua/Hikvision? I'm not sure I remember which of my cameras have microphone inputs.
