IPC3235ER3-DUVZ live feed via web GUI is unusable..

It automatically added all my IP cameras on the left column. I then selected the uniview one and entered the user and pass. It does show a thumbnail of cameras image but wont show when I hit live view...

anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras?

Looks like I should be good with - 4 X IPC-HFW5442-ZE Specs read Power Consumption :<10.9W - Switchflex Specs read Power Consumption :5W not including POE power budget My only concern is this from the switch flex specs: Max PoE Wattage Per Port 25W Total PoE Power Budget Powered by...

IPC3235ER3-DUVZ live feed via web GUI is unusable..

ODM software is saying no video signal so I am assuming ONVIF is turned off but I just looked through all of the camera settings 3 times and did not see the option for ONVIF. Do you know where in the uniview menus this would be located?

anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras?

I'm an idiot. I thought the Switch Flex Utility was the "switch flex". I did not realize it was a housing and PSU for the Switch flex! Thanks so much for clarifying :)

IPC3235ER3-DUVZ live feed via web GUI is unusable..

Been bench testing this Uniview camera to compare with dahuas line. The live feed via web GUI is unusable. It is choppy, sometimes just cuts out to black all together for a few seconds and for all the Gen Xers out there, sometime I literally look like max headroom. This is all while using edge...

anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras?

Got it, I wasn't understanding that the unit only powered off of POE. I do not have a way to connect POE via a direct cable, only via a POE injector as there is no way to pull cables to that pole. Do you know what injector would be used to power the switch in this situation? I may have to get...

anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras?

Thank you cyberwolf_uk . Can you clarify why this wouldn't support 4 cameras? Also, what would I use in this setup to add more cameras on a separate pole to transmit a signal.. just another loco? Sorry, I've never set one of these Ubiquiti systems up so i'm not sure what they are capable of.

anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras?

Does anyone have Ubiquiti NSM5 setup with multiple cameras? I'm looking to mount 4 x 4mp cameras on a pole with direct line of site about 300ft away. Does Ubiquiti have hardware to do this or would I need to install a 3rd party POE switch and bridge Ubiquiti's onboard POE ?

Opinions and suggestions on placement camera choices?

Great information guys. Thank you. I understand the deterrence cameras will not be able to identify people so the AI part is useless. I just want an over view of what is going on as well as a visual and audio alerting them that someone is aware of what they are up to. Example couch, recliner...

Thanks sebastiantombs. Is this what you are suggesting? What are your thoughts on a 3rd in the middle where the first ones where?

Opinions and suggestions on placement camera choices?

The idea is to deter people from illegally dumping behind the building. If that doesn't work I'd like to be able to capture and possibly log license plates. I'm not sure if there would be any benefit of using a true LPR camera as the vehicles will be slow moving and forced through a choke...

    Dahua 4G camera list?

This is what I was originally going to do but I feel like with less hardware I am limiting the amount of failure points. The installation and maintenance on this system will require a bucket truck which I'd have to rent each time something goes wrong.

    Dahua 4G camera list?

Jeez, they sure do make this confusing. Youd think if they support LTE then they would be compatible but.. "LTE, or Long Term Evolution, is the globally accepted 4G wireless standard. All of the US carriers use it. For more, see 3G vs. 4G: What's the Difference? And all of the carriers use...

    Dahua 4G camera list?

Tony, do you know what carriers would work best with the Dahua cameras in the US? It says supports LTE/WCDMA/GSM I'm pretty sure Verizon wont work. I am thinking ATT, or t-mobile?
