    4 cams on 4 different poles. I'll have to measure to see if it exceeds poe or poe+ max distance. I'm in Massachusetts. Good point about getting it in writing. This is actually for the towns recycle center so the electric company "may" be more lenient.

    Permanent install. The wireless is because the TV is not going to be conected to a PC to access the cams via browser and there will not be an NVR to directly connect to the TV. I am open to any other suggestions if you have some though.

    Theoretically it should. Both the modems wifi and the fire TV stick suport 802.11a/b/g/n/ac ( 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band plus up to 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. ) and the fire TV stick supports 4k streaming.

    Got it, so there are actually standard technoligies for these analog systems so you just have to match the cameras technology with that of the DVR. I was aware of the one dahua uses (HDCVI) but not the others. Thank you for the help guys
