Yeah will give it a go with a powered POE adapter as well just to check. I'm guessing (hoping...hope is a strategy right?) some small amount of corrosion mostly because the camera is already more stable than it was before (plugged into same POE port but with different cable). It's gone offline... -

Yeah, not sure why I didn't think of taking it down! Just brought it inside and hooked it up...so far so good, will leave it for an hour or so but signs seem to be pointing to the connection. Was perfectly clean when I took it off though, it's also inside a junction box so pretty darn... -

Shoot...no I think I used some sort of waterproof black stretchy tape (can't recall the technical term for it) that I recall someone recommending on this forum way back when I originally installed my cameras in 2015. Not sure what setting I changed, but seem to be getting fewer confirmed plates, and also even when I get a confirmed plate it is not giving me the usual vehicle flag in the timeline? Maybe something different between different schedules. -

I seem to be having an issue where my zoom/focus settings aren't showing up in my camera nor is there a zoom/focus window (using Chrome). Firmware is V2.800.0000000.16.R, Build Date: 2020-05-29 . Came across a thread from a user pointing to this firmware. Is this the latest one? Also, the...- pbc

Thanks, unfortunately if I zoom in more I lose one of the two sides which is the issue (and then would have to try and capture plates from further back which presumably defeats the pupose? E.g., below is the full view. I would capture the van a bit earlier in the shot and then the jeep a bit... -

Bingo...that was it. Didn't realize I had to copy and paste "&CAM\%Y%m%d\&CAM.%Y%m%d_%H%M%S" into every profile (some were syncing with other cameras). Voila.. Now to figure out focus/zoom. Wonder if my camera has moved a bit with wind/etc as it used to be perfect, though trying to capture... -

Okay, I think that is the problem. The ALPR directory has not been created within the Alerts folder. Am I supposed to manually create it or is there a setting somewhere in the Crop camera to tell it to save alerts to that folder? Come to think of it, I'm not sure how the FrontDoor, Driveway... -

Thanks, went back to the Dahua utility as it occurred to me that I was using it for my LPR camera which also required the changing of focus/zoom parameters between day and night. -
