You find the camera MP on the left and the sensor size on the top. Red will not do well at night. Yellow will have okay performance, especially with some extra light. Green will do the best.
@wittaj What are your recommendations for day and night settings to start with with the IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3? My house is very little to no light. Thank you!
With your buddies setup, you have an HDMI from NVR to a monitor and I’m assuming he has a computer that he uses to adjust his camera settings by the camera’s IP?
With an Empire Tech NVR how do you like to view the cameras at any time at home? Tablet, Laptop, HDMI from NVR to TV/monitor. I’m trying to get an idea how you all do it? I’m new to this so anything helps!
@Ri22o I was also looking at the IPC-E3541F-AS-M for a front door cam. Do you still use this model? If so, how do you like it and how do you have it mounted (ceiling or sidewall)? I’m just getting into this and this thread was very helpful! Thank you sir!
Great article you supplied! I see that you recommend to include at least one night vision color camera. What Empire Tech color night would be a good complement to the 5442? It’s 40’ from where the camera would be installed to the street.
When using the Dahua NVR, do you get notifications quickly when using the DMSS app? Would you recommend the verifocal or fixed lens? What wire is everyone using between the camera and NVR?
For anyone that uses or has used the Nelly’s R-series, what’s your thoughts? I’m looking at the 5 MP LED they have and the R-series NVR. It would be a residential install. What would you recommend between this and Empire Tech 5442? Thanks a million!
I’m looking at getting the IPC-T5442T-ZE cameras, VTO2311R-WP doorbell and NVR5208-8P-4KS2E NVR. What’s your thoughts on this setup for home use? What would you recommend if you don’t recommend this? Thanks!!
