    You wont have SSH or Telnet root on 5.3.x so you can't hack MTD.

    I don't agree with this, there are still other protocols to transmit video through HTML5. Also there is still possiblilty to develope native chrome plugin and native firefox plugins. You don't need rtsp to transmit ipcam video. There is HLS for instance. For the camera it would not cost more...

    No, this has nothing to do with region if it works on the regular LAN Side. Surely it fails to configure automattically. You can add it manually if you put the IP to the correct subnet 192.168.215.xxx (depends on settings) of the POE Side of the NVR, then add all details manually in the NVR...

    Use the downgrader here in the thread. I believe you did not change the rest of the IP settings correctly. The TFTP always react for me. PS. Actually it is the camera connecting on boot up to the TFTP not the TFTP connecting to the camera.

    I did never try the alarm push to a smartphone. Why dont you just send Email with Picture to your smartphone. The option Notify Surveillance Center is rather for Desktop Software.     I cannot confirm that poe would work with 1,2,3,6 In my experience using the 4 cables for an additional LAN will break POE function because in general power runs always through 4,5 and 7,8 so if you use for second lan no more POE.
