    another quick question, how do you change the camera and also the nvr to NTSC/60hz? is that set via the firmware you have installed? i want to change the shutter speed to 1/30 but i've noticed i dont have that option i get for example 1/25, 1/50.

    when i view the camera via gui the picture is normal, but i really havent set in front of it to see if it happens. i guess its like watching grass grown. how can i set the camera to record to the pc hdd since its a nvr camera? now it cant be cabling because for one the 2 cameras use brand new...

    yeah thats a good point. any solutions? the issue happens on all the resolution and quality/bit rate settings too. i found someone else who has/had pretty much the same issue, just much much worse then me. i've noticed he has the same equipment setup as me too

    this is all brand new stuff. the hdd is a 4TB WD purple surveillance hard drive. this distortion that im talking about, the best way to describe it, is as though some of the image is getting "decoded" and its sort of jumbled up. but yeah when you playback that part, its when you notice the skipping.

    ok. bit of a update and any suggestion. so far the changes are not bad. i checked some footage this morning and found only one part where it did the 2 second skip while using the playback either through the web browser or ivms software, so eg it skipped between 7:51.19am till 7:51.21am however...

    yep thanks. i've changed the pre/post to 10s/10s, chnaged to h284 and reduced the quality to medium at 20fps. so far i did a couple of tests and they seem ok. will check the footage tomorrow to see if its fixed up.
