By the way so I followed your steps and although 192.168.254.0/24 is reachable from my network which is 192.168.1.1 I cannot still access the net from the cameras and the whole thing of using port other than 80 seems almost redundant IF your firmware has virtual host. It seems to be random and it doesn't actually crash it just gives me a blank output so if I switch to fluent it works then I play around with the different cameras to see which will work in clear and it almost seems like one at a time. Also I should say it seems to work better more consistent... -

The odd thing is if I reduce one camera to 1920 it works as soon as I up it to 2048 it dies and it seems to be just that one cam. I wonder if I should just reset it and start over. -

yeah thats what i did once but was thinking on the front wall but you are now the second person to tell me to try the side wall which i will do. so you think mount it in the side wall above the light closer to the corner or closer to the outside edge? -

so i actually got the 2532 which is a mini dome so really small. its a 2.8 3mp. when you say put it to the right of the door 2 feet above the light are we talking about on the door wall or on the side wall? if i put it on the door wall above then i have the issue of not seeing right at the... -

hey thanks for replying so yeah i got the latest firmware for the nvr and all the cameras. i don't seem to have issues with image at night or day though i'd love for the remote image to be clear and it seems to not want to do so. what do you mean set off an event with motion detect like send... -

so although yes I agree the round robin probably doesnt make much sense it does give me wan access from outside. with your proposed route would i have that? its not vital but is somewhat nice to have. I much like my understanding is from you am a tinkerer so maybe will give it a shot. the... -
