    Yup, the button is to help unclip the base. So there may or may not be significant performance differences, but we know between these two, yours is metal w/ a sd card slot and mine is plastic w/out a sd card slot. The price difference is pretty significant though... approx $110 vs $70.

    Here's the 4431C-A. Looks like it's the same size. 4 1/8" diameter (the pic looks skewed from the camera angle). The base and housing is plastic. The ball is metal.

    If a built in mic for audio is important to you, consider the Dahua turret. Image quality seems to be very similar between the hik and dahua 4mp turret... However, we know the hik turret has a sturdy metal base while we're still trying to determine which of the Dahuas bases are metal.

    Definitely don't run multiple injectors if you can help it. The question should be, do you want a poe or poe+ switch? If you think you will possibly need more than 1 poe+ down the road, it would be cheaper to get a poe+ switch now vs buying multiple poe+ injectors.
