    You probably figured this out by now, but I had the same issue. I had disabled the "View Recorded Clips" option in the default admin user account. As soon as I checked that box, the word "CLIPS" appeared in the top right for me to expand. Make sure you enable this in the main user acct.

    The kids love those laser light projectors that illuminate the exterior of the house with thousands of speckles. Am i just asking for trouble with the cameras? My cameras are mounted on the outside corners of the house, but i don't think theres an easy way to direct the laser scatter.

    I'm also wondering the same thing. With both the IPC-HDW5231R-Z and IPC-HDW4231EM-AS being in the Starlight lineup, are they expected to perform the same even though the zoom lens has a larger aperture of 1.4 vs the 2.0 of the fixed? Does Andy or anyone know?

    Looks good with the landscape light. Have you tested if you can actually ID a face, with and without the landscape light? Up close in the patio, i think the 2.8 should still do the trick.

    Im planning on using the same cam, 2.8mm, for my doorway. 2.8 will give me enough coverage to see in the peripheral and is good enough to see faces that come up to the door. Having built in audio is nice.

    Were the cameras that died from the lightning powered via POE? If a lightning strikes close enough, even a high rated joule protection probably won't stand a chance.

    According to their catalog, they're different camera lines, with encoding being the biggest difference. Is one targeted for China va Worldwide... I dunno? I find it interesting that some of the 4421 cameras have metal bases and some are plastic. My 4431 is plastic...
