    The Cisco router is managing internet traffic. Never had any alerts since system was setup. This is VERY strange as all my other cameras use NTP = time.nist.gov port = 123. I just tested it on an extra camera I have and it worked perfectly. Tried updating the firmware. no glory. M

    Connected thru a Cisco GB Switch and a Cisco GB Router just like the rest of the devices. (security system, Thermostat etc...) I have a NVR also hooked up to the same Switch and it syncs its NPT time every 3 hours. Thanks for the responses :-) M

    I set up all kinds of devices in our home using "time.nist.gov" on port 123. Hikvision just gives me test failed. Sorry for such a simple time but I'm stumped. M

    k. I fixed my original post seems I left off the F. I also noticed with the new cameras that the slight fisheye in the 2.8mm & 4.0mm. Is there some point that the frames are square?
