    Nanostation M5 with Hikvision Cameras

For your Ubiquiti radio question, 3 nanostations in STA mode (one @ each camera), and 1 nanostation in AP mode @ the building. This will bridge everything together, assuming you have everything configured right and have power figured out. FYI, if you power the cameras separately (not POE)...

Dahua NVR - rtsp stream for split view (multi view)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am using VLC, and I even tried it on my main computer to make sure it wasn't some restriction via the pi, but had the same problem. I may have to look into some other methods as BP suggested. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

Dahua NVR - rtsp stream for split view (multi view)

Nothing. I've tried 0, 0-0, and 1-17, which gives me a single camera view on 1-6 (6 cameras connected at the moment) Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

Dahua NVR - rtsp stream for split view (multi view)

Does anyone know the answer to the original question? I'm trying to stream to my pi, and figured out how to stream the RTSP individual camera feeds, but want to stream the multiview from the nvr. Thanks.

    PoE Switch Options

I'm sure the OP has already found a switch, but for others looking for a good quality managed switch, I found that the netonix switches are far superior to the ubiquiti and around the same cost. The only thing they don't have that ubiquiti has is the 24 volt poe, so might be an issue for some if...

Multiple POE switches vs long wires

I run 6 Poe switches in different parts of the house. Way easier to manage than trying to get all wires to one location. You can also run a wireless bridge between different buildings and use multiple Poe switches at each end. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-850F using Tapatalk

Bridge for NVR Video over WiFi?

Yes use Ubiquity M5's not M2's. M5's have way more channel options and will work well even with poor line of sight at that distance.

    Dahua NVR multiview url?

I've searched, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm trying to set up the rpisurv and am looking for the correct url for the multiview on my NVR? I am able to get individual channel video on VLC using the rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1...

    Intel NUC5i7RYH for residential use

If physical space is an issue, the NUC is a good choice and will run a few cameras easy enough with the right configuration as fenderman advised. I went this route for a couple of customers, only to find that I could build a faster desktop for less $$$, and with way more options. You will be...

    SD49225T-HN LiveCam via Youtube

We put up an SD49225T-HN, testing it as a LiveCam via Youtube. I'm pretty impressed with it's overall performance. TLF WiFi & Security Camera if anyone is interested. I've been tweaking the night time feed settings, and think I've got it dialed in pretty good without using IR (best...

Review of KKMOON 1080P Fisheye camera

I bought a different brand, seems identical, yesterday. Took me a couple hours to figure out how to get them running. You can access all of the camera settings and languages once you install the active x control software that's on the disk and use internet explorer. It was a pain on windows 10...
