SADP unusable
I believe SADP comes with it's own implementation of WinPcap. Perhaps a clash with other low-level network access/packet capture software that uses the NPF driver. Try uninstall SADP and npcap. Reboot the PC and then re-install SADP. You shouldn't need to run SADP as administrator however... -

I haven't worked with the Door station series so I can't say for sure. However, if you are able to access the webGUI, there may be a 'work around' to enable CGI. Are you able to log into the DS-KV8102-IP webGUI? -

When you 'the device resets' do you mean the NVR or the NAS? Is the connection lost or does the device reboot? The more info you can provide the easier it will be to narrow the issue down. What firmware is the NVR on? If you are not on V3.4.4 build170526 it may be a good place to start. -

I suspect the new firmware has muddled the line crossing settings and you need to recreate them. I have the same NVR and similar cameras and my line crossing works well.
