The information is included... in this thread! :)
In one of the early posts. It is TP is "UDP", Port is "554" and Stream Path is: "(ip)/Streaming/Channels/101/"
Easy shortcut to the three known clones clones:

These are all clones and the same device. The HSDB2 is the version 2.0 of this lineup and still does not support ONVIF. It does support RTSP which is what I use to stream/record and capture motion and it has worked surprisingly flawlessly.
The difference can be found here RTSP vs. JPEG vs...
And Trust me I have 15 Dahua made cameras (Have tested Hiksvision POE which failed on me before) and now have this one lonely Hiksvision made in my house. I really wish the Dahua one worked out but the lack of 5GHz wifi is a reliability liability: 2.4GHz band is insanely crowded in our current...
I am no newb... and am actually a photography hobbyist and semiconductor engineer. I even know the manufacturers of these sensors. I am aware that MP alone is not warrant of image quality. Actually physical CMOS sensor density and optics matter and I stand by what I said. The DB11 image quality...
Not sure why you would think that. The fact that it is 2.4GHz only and 2MP vs 3MP makes it significantly inferior. The video will be less reliable and quality won't be as good.
What you are asking for is almost what I was seeking and this RCA doorbell is the closest I have found to it. I don't especially desire to not have a phone app for notification and if you want to use the call function, you will still need the phone app but... the fact that it offers an RTSP...
I have switched to the guarding vision app and it is surprisingly reliable. Having replaced a skybell HD, at the same location and the same wifi/network setup, only moving to 5GHz, for me made a huge difference.
No you are right. There is no way that wifi will be more reliable than hardwire. But it can be just as reliable. I However am doing better than a constant ping. I am recording 24x7 on my NAS for 3 years with a notification whenever a camera gets disconnected either by dropped frames which are...
The power is likely more important than the voltage. The rating of the transformer is Voltage and Volt/Ampere which is technically the same as Wattage. For this puppy, 10VA is not going to make it. It seems like it requires 15VA alone so with a chime and the power kit, you can count an...
I have factual proof of the contrary... It isn't because it makes me feel better. I actually believed the same thing you do until I had a ton of problems with Amcrest POE cameras dropping due to some odd multicast signal which I ended up having to reboot constantly and somehow the identical ones...
I beg to differ, I have my home surveillance system setup with 16 cams, 6 of which are wifi, all on 5GHz except for my previous skybell and they have been rock solid for over 3 years running 24x7. The key is likely the 5GHz and lower interference...
Depends on your wifi setup... I never had any problem with mine. What you use as your AP and the distance/signal interference matters. I just replaced my Skybell HD with an RCA HSDB2. Wifi was never the source of reliability issues. The skybell just had a battery which expanded out of shape...
Have been watching this thread for months and purchased an RCA version a few weeks ago. Finally got to install it today and so far it's been working like a charm. Upgraded firmware to 190124 with the big RCA logo and have it setup to record from my QNAP QVR pro. It is just too bad that the QVR...
