From what I can tell, besides the logo, they are all hikvision firmwares but with different versions. The laview is the most recent one and for me stabilized my 5GHz wifi and my rtsp stream. -

I would third these comments. It is way ahead of all these cloud only devices. The RTSP is a deal breaker and I have to say that the latest firmware also stabilized my rtsp stream and wifi connection. The build is also superior. I just wish I could integrate it further with a local API. -

Maybe try to tilt the camera away to the right to see if it is able to adjust. I don't think it is a defective camera. I think your particular setup, with the close proximity to the bricks and the large amount of reflection is causing its auto aperture/exposure adjustment to go out of whack. -

The view without IR seems normal as in is what I would expect. The view with IR is the problem. Either your IR is too strong causing the camera not to be able to adjust due to the reflection on the left side, or you camera is indeed not adjusting at all. -

Quick update. The special frames are still occurring with the LAview firmware and I think they are destined for the cloud server but found their way into the RSTP stream. As a result the amazon echos still refuses to connect locally to the doorbell's RSTP stream. -

Ok I typed too fast. Yeah I used 16V not 20V. Again higher voltage only helps with efficiency, the wattage is the capacity. 24V is probably fine if you intend of having several chimes or/and have high resistance wiring. -

They are all based on the same hardware. The RCA and the EZVIZ for sure are clones down to the brackets. The LaView apparently runs a slightly different firmware. They all have an PIR motion sensor which is why the motion detection is so much better than other devices I tested. -
