Custom Firmware Downgrader 5.3.0 Chinese to 5.2.5 English

Edit: Different power supply lets camera boot Hi, I'm having trouble flashing using TFTP. I've connected my computer directly to the 2132 (powered by 12V DC PSU separately) but the PC isn't showing any TFTP activity and the camera just boots normally. I set the IP of the PC to 192.0.0.128 with...

    Hikvision NVR's and SSD Drives

The HDDs are about the quietest part of my Hik NVR. I'd say the fans are noitcable but the loudest part seems to be a whirr from the POE MOSFETs... If anyone has an idea on how to silence those, please let me know!

Custom Firmware Downgrader 5.3.0 Chinese to 5.2.5 English

So I replaced the IE..gz file and the mtd5 and 6 hack on 5.2.8. If I apply the 5.2.5 firmware in this thread, do I have to undo any of the settings before downgrading, or redo settings after downgrading? (Wanting to downgrade because per the other thread my 2132s are rebooting every 5-10 min)...

So the mtd hack worked really well for me on 5.2.8 but then I found myself with 2132s rebooting every few minutes and it looks like this is the culprit: http://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php/2960-ds-2cd2032-i-ch-keep-rebooting-every-5-10-minute Next I'll try to downgrade to 5.2.5 (using the...

    Help - new install issues

Thanks guys! Sorry for hijacking OP's post - just funny that both of us are having the same issues. I'm using T568B and copper Cat6 wiring (Solid, not stranded). I used a $15 cable tester that blinks 1.2.3.4....8 in succession and it was blinking correctly. Does a cable tester not detect crossed...

    Help - new install issues

I went back and tried the same thing (3 foot wire POE) and the camera worked fine too! Then I moved the same camera out to the other location and it stopped working. POE is detecting that camera, but it doesn't show up. I double checked the longer run using a cable tester and it is fine, so I...

Re: 2132F-IS refuses to be discovered if connected to POE, connecting to 12V power wo Thanks, let me try that tonight. The one thing I noticed is the SADP tool isn't restricted to subnets - like, if I have IPs of 10.X.X.X, SADP tool will still pick up 192.0.0.64 cameras.. I tried connecting...

Re: 2132F-IS refuses to be discovered if connected to POE, connecting to 12V power wo Yeah, when connected using a 12VDC and no POE I can see the stream and it shows up in SADP. 2132F-IS refuses to be discovered if connected to POE, connecting to 12V power works

Hey folks, having a bit of an issue with one of the 4 2132F-IS units I purchased. 3 of the 4 cameras worked fine with the mtd hack for my 7616NI-E4 NVR. The last one, when it's plugged into the POE port, the NVR does not see the Camera. If I connect my router to one of the POE ports and check...

AliExpress - Who are people using?

Have folks still been able to get the 2132 from Chinese sellers? Most of them claim it's been replaced with 2135, 3132 and 3135. I know the 3XXX ones are cheaper plastic vs the 2132 Aluminum, but what's everyone's suggestion? I don't want to spend extra for the 2142 right now..

Hikvision DS-7616N-E2/8P - first impression and some ambiguities

Hey guys, for those of you buying NVRs from China, I noticed on the Chinese HikVision site, it mentions 220V support only. The US site mentions 100-240V. Do you guys need transformers for China market NVRs, or do they work fine with 110V in North America?
