    Email hosafe support. It will take them a few days to respond but they do respond. They have a work around. Its been years since i had the same problem but it worked. The cameras are still running. I just don't remember what they sent me.

    I meant I have the dns set up in the router. You have to setup a dns on the router in order for the vpn to make the config file.

    Turn Upnp off on the router and cameras. Give the cameras a 1.0.0.1 dns and just use your vms to get e-mails. Not sure if you can use milestone for that purpose. With blue iris you can setup emails thru the vms.

    Windows firewall. create a new outbound rule for new port with bi program. then recheck the app it should update.

    you using the bi mobile app? in the web server tab, lower the refresh rate to 2 minutes. refresh the app. it should come up.

    Change your port to a 4 digit number: 8085, 8585 etc... don't use 80 or 81. Shut off port forwarding. redo your vpn config file with the new port. restart the vpn service and recheck. also check your anti virus. make sure bi is excluded.

    Post a screen shot of your bi web server settings. Black out your external ip. The vpn should pass thru the router without forwarding ports. You may need to setup a static route but nothing more. Check your windows firewall first.

    Yes it gives you better control over the camera and stream. Both work on lots of cameras but its better to use the correct stream path.

    Yeah I made sure I was on 4g only. Triple checked everything, still no go. The server is behind a verizon 4g router. Im guessing the double nat screwed up the hand shake.

    No luck. Got the file to my phone but still getting the same message. Changed the port and downloaded the new files but still same problem. No server cert enabled. Gotta try a different route. Openvpn is just not working for me. Thx for the help guys.
