    Well damn! The UI is suppose to be smarter than me. It should have told me I was missing the SD card. I thought the SD card was just for back up. It looks like I do have an SD card in the nestcam. I'll have to check my other cams. Thank you! Obviously the card isn't used.

    this is so easy for those that understand this. This is very stressful for people like me. Thank you for finding it in PSS. I need to make MP$ in the UI so I don't get video jumping around.

    you are so smart. It was there. But I'm not suppose to make videos in PSS because it makes the video jump. I have to make my videos in the cams UI. Thank you for finding the cam in PSS. Can you find my video in the cam's UI Please?

    that has worked fine for my other cams. I don't understand what you mean by select the nvr first... this is what I see in playback in PSS.

    I did add a recording here I created with the nestcam UI but the video in the 12z cam playback doesn't show any recordings. I don't understand why the the 12z UI in IE won't let me see recordings in playback. This is overwhelming. And it is confusing to me and I am familiar with any of this.

    You said to only use PSS for playback so I should be able to see my 12z cam recordings. The NVR shows there are recordings but as you know it won't allow me to make MP4 video. I have a screen capture showing the NVR in IE showing the recording. And the cam in IE not showing any video. And cam UI...

    I will have to screw with this tomorrow. I can pull up playback in the nvr ui but it won't let me save as a mp4. So I went into the cams UI to playback and it shows no video for today. I created that short video before with the nestcams ui. Not sure why the video isn't showing under playback...

    I'm sorry, bad habit :( I went into the cams ui and not the nvr's. See I already forgot what you taught me. Record wasn't selected in the nvr ui. I am so sorry. The ui makes me log in all the time. It always helps if I do as you say..and remember. I wrote it in my journal so maybe that will help...

    I think the program looks different depending on what PC you have among other things. For whatever reason if you don't do things in the exact order it won't work. Generally when you hover over an icon it will tell you what it is. That Batch Download didn't have that. To me Batch means...

    The short cut that worked for me was I right clicked on my desktop and selected new-shortcut- I pasted C:\Windows\System32\mshta.exe javascript : open();close() and removed the space after script and the one before open.     I want mine to look like yours. Are you in IE? Are you in the NVR or the camera UI? I don't have the mp4 option like you do :( I only have dav and jpg file types.

    I rebooted my PC and it didn't come back. yay! But I created a dav video. I am not given the option to save as mp4 or where to save. It has to be an mp4, that is the whole reason I need IE because someone said mp4 worked in IE.

    I couldn't type times in the box. I was able to create a short video but once I click the disk it starts downloading in a dav file. I wasn't able to select mp4 or where to save.
