When my motion triggers, the object moving gets covered up with purple/blue boxes. Is this caused by Blue iris or is it a camera setting? Thanks Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

    Strange Router Problems

I connected the switch (non PoE port) to the router with a xover cable. Could I have crossed a power line that sent voltage back to router? Maybe I only needed a straight thru cable... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

    Strange Router Problems

Still doesn't explain what torches the router unless the traffic between the camera and the computer is SOOO high the router can't handle it. But that doesn't really make sense, does it? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

    Strange Router Problems

I appear to have burned up two Linksys AC1900 routers in the last 18 hours after connecting my camera system. Both times the Internet has gone down, I lose control of my home automation system, and I no longer log into my router using IP. I can still see the connection lights and traffic on...

Thanks for the welcome. I set the IP in sadp, then logged onto the camera to set up the wifi. I entered the wifi ssid and pw, then changed camera mode to wlan.
