I had one the other day that would connect to Android through hik-online but not Apple. I found that 554 wasn't selected on the NVR nat and sorted it when I opened 554. :oh:

[DS-2CD2432F-IW] - External access problem x Setup Port fowarding

No expert on networks but I can't see that you have opened ports 554 and 8000? Those ports need to be open unless you have changed which ports to use on the NVR. Edit: I see you have in your first picture. Is there not a way to open those ports externally as they are?

    HIK 2232 vs 2332 QUESTION----NIGHT VISION-----

They have them in the UK and I've installed a few. The only problem is that they only do them with a 4mm lens, which is crazy considering the IR range. They look pretty much like these Turbo cams that I have sprayed black for a job...

    12mm DS-2CD2032-I

Well done on getting it fixed. My firmware is 5.2.3 (141024) and if you have UK spec then you should get your firmware from http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/portal/index.php?dir=Product%20Firmware/Cameras/ All the 2xx2 range use the same firmware.

    12mm DS-2CD2032-I

Hi Railcam The trouble with that cam is that the IR is only rated at 20m. Real life it will only probably be good for around 10m. You could use additional IR lighting to give it a better range. You will have adjustment settings if you log into the cameras IP from a browser. I would also...

    Hikvision DS-7608N-E2/8P recording setup help

How many cameras do you have? The limiting factor will be the bitrate. Your NVR will have a bandwidth of 40mbps. Use the Hikvision bandwidth calculator. You can download the Hikvision tools here...

    Hikvision and logcurfile.bin

Alistair, stop hiding from the Mrs in the blind spot when it's your turn to dry the dishes :D That's what I like about the turbo (TVI). There is no fan in the smaller one and it still produces a good 1080p picture.
