Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Update: For whatever reason, the IR doesn't come on any more. I also resolved the choppy live view by using NVMS7000 instead. The main issue I'm having now is around 6:30 AM every morning I'm getting this while watching live-view (doesn't impact the recording on the NVR): I'm also getting...

LA View NVR (Hikvision) and Wifi RCA Doorbell (Hikvision)

Hi, I'm getting the following error exactly at 6:30 AM every morning: I've done a search for this error and it seems to have something to do with the way the IP addresses, port forwarding (?), etc. are configured. I've done some port forwarding (not even sure if that was needed for the...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

For the last 6 months or so, I've gotten color at night (no IR), which has been great. Haven't changed a thing and now it's switching to IR at night, which is unfortunate. A side result of this is I get a motion detection each night when it switches from color to b&w and I'm wondering if...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Never a dumb question, yes, the MAC has the ability, but I don't use it (nor anything like that for a Network card). I do have another computer I can try to use with VLC, not sure why it stops after a while (iMVS-42000 never stops when in live view). Yes, the transformer was old, so it was...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

As follow-up, I was having buffering/choppy live view video using iVMS-4200. I switched to VLC and it's not as choppy (still not as smooth when playing back recording video, but it is ok). Thinking it was the power supply (16 V 10A), I decided to upgrade that to (16V 30A). After an hour...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Got it! Lol. It does pop up that box, then I have to type the other password that's set separately for the camera. That got me in, finally. Thanks :) And I totally agree, I should go through the steps and see what happens....Going to let it run and see what happens...I'll stop the iVMS-4200...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I'm not sure we are talking about the same software. I downloaded the batch config tool, but that appears for configuration, not live viewing.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I'm not seeing any options to view cameras, just adjust settings.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

What should I do with the tool? (Both the NVR and Doorbell Cam are on port 8000, at least that's what it shows).

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

By the way, for some reason the doorbell is showing on port 8000, not 554. I tried both and still can't get in on VLC. I did get that login popup again, but I have no idea which login it wants....

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

No, it's not connecting. I'm sure it's user error :)

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

It's a pretty new one (in fact, the one that's posted on their official site has problems working with Catalina on the Mac. I'm not even sure where I found this, but it's more updated and worked. I'm willing to go the transformer route, but I'm thinking this is software (maybe? maybe not?)...

I'm actually using iVMS-4200 and a LaView NVR.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

For sure it's builder's grade. I'm just wondering if this is the case, why live view in the browser worked great and totally smooth.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

The transformer is not upgraded, that's for sure. The transformer would impact live view performance, but not the recorded performance?

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Interesting. I'm just wondering why it only starts after around an hour of play..At refresh, it disappears for around another hour. Until just recently, I was using a browser (can't remember the name) and it was allowing me live view with no buffering at all. Once I updated to MAC OS...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I gave it a try, but I couldn't get the feed to work. At one point a prompt came up on VLC for a username and password (even though that was put in the URL), but I couldn't get past that point. Then, when I tried to re-do that process, I couldn't even get to that login box. I wonder why the...

Thank you. I will try this. I'm only running 1 stream.

Good question. I'm not sure if I ever got that to work.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

The video, when being recorded and viewed, is not choppy at all, however, when I run the live video through IVMS-4200, the feed eventually (after watching for about an hour or so) begins to get a bit choppy. Once I re-initiate the live video, the choppyness goes away, but then re-appears later...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Yes, I am doing it manually. What seems to work is if I adjust it from the NVR (at least manually) via the web interface. If I adjust manually via the web interface for the actual doorbell, it reverts back to 30 minutes off. I will have to try the NTP, previous attempts were never successful...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I'm having a problem with my time synchronization. Everything was fine until the time change and now it's off by 30 minutes. So I logged in and saw that the DST was checked (which would be correct for me) but there's a 30 minute, 60 minute, etc. bias that I can't undo. It appears this is...
