    I agree. The 180 camera is recording as expected now. I have walked the same path on the PTZ several times now and it ends short each time. The clips range in length 9-13 seconds. So I will remove that camera from BI and add it back to see if that resolves anything.

    one other thing I noticed, the clip from the PTZ that recorded right before I went outside, slows down in the middle of the clip, to like slowmo speed. the seconds in the time seem correct speed, but the motion in the video is way slowed down in the middle of the clip.

    so i diasabled the clones, and removed all the PTZ triggers on all cameras. I walked outside in front of the home preset for the PTZ. The PTZ was tracking me, but didnt record anything. the ptz is giving theses errors in the log:

    I redid the intrusion boxes on the spotter 180, and changed the tracking time on the PTZ to be 120 seconds for each preset. one thing I noticed is that when I changed the home preset on the PTZ I didn't then change the spotter cams to exclude the new home preset and add the previous home...

    I was just watching my PTZ tracking a human, all was good, probably 15 seconds in and then the spotter cam lost signal and PTZ immediately stopped tracking and returned to home. How can I troubleshoot the lost connections on that 180 camera? Is that a known/typical issue with it?

    Gotcha, I will put a SD card in the PTZ. But on the first one anyhow, its called back to preset 2. Preset 1 is home. If it lost its tracking object, wouldnt it return home?

    no unexpected triggers, and the intrusion boxes seem to be much more accurate. Cars on the street are triggering the boxes though, and its no getting some humans on the edge of the boxes until they cross like halfway in. so ill have to play with it and figure out how to stop getting cars in...

    ok everything redone, new clones, new intrusion boxes instead of tripwires. I will let it run a while. I do notice the intrusion boxes are triggering for cars going by in street while intrusion box is short of the street so guess i need to pull those in a little more off the street.
