Well as luck would have it, I changed the ends and the cam was working, but now I'm getting the message: Network is unstable. Connecting again... Failed to play video. Any thoughts as to why this might be occurring? Thanks -

Ok I figured it out. It's the ethernet cable. When I had my garage converted into a recording studio, the wires going from the NVR to the cam got permanently placed in the ceiling, so there's no way to change that. I'll have to figure out another way to get a new cable from the outside garage to... -

All 5 cameras are powered by the NVR. All cameras are model Hikvision: DS-2CD2345FWD-I. I don't have a switch between the cameras and NVR or powered by POE injector. I purchased the house with this existing setup. All cameras worked until today. How do I know if I exceeded the bandwidth? Thank you -

alastairstevenson, thanks for the info. You're right. I thought the drive was louder but it seems the 2 fans is causing all the noise. I unplugged one of them and it helps a little. By reducing the noise, is the only alternative changing the fan itself? -

Seeing that we're staying home for the time being, I'd like to keep Live View running but without the loud SATA drive. It there a setting in Hikvision to power down the SATA drive, or do I have to physically remove the cable going to the SATA drive? Thanks! -

Maybe I can change the fan? I changed all the fans in my SSD enclosures, but getting a silent fan to cool a SATA drive may not be a good idea. -

Thanks, I'll have to look into it. Regarding the 4TB drive I have in the unit. The fan is pretty loud. I assume this is to keep the drive cool. Is there another alternative to using a drive? Can I remove the drive which will stir the fan and use some kind of cloud method to record? Thanks -
