    Yeah, I mounted these with no previous experience with survelliance cameras or infrared, so it's good to know. I have other cameras that I'll end up having to adjust, since they also get IR reflections.

    This doesn't work 100% of the time (at least with SMS notifications). I was playing around with it, and the same camera would sometimes use the snapshot from AITOOL and others the one from BI. I'm using BI 5.3.8.3

    Just allow your cameras to talk only to your BI box and block all other traffic. That's how I have my pfsense rules setup.

    So it appears that the latest Intel graphics driver has solved the issue. Had to completely uninstall the current one for the new one to take effect. Running smoothly at 30fps with H265. Thanks!

    The only way I seem to get it to smooth out is by dropping the codec to H.264. My machine is an i5-10500 @ 3.10Ghz. I would think this is enough to decode H.265 smoothly.

    Sorry to hijack, but does anyone else get dropped frames with the IPC-T5442TM-AS @ 30 fps? I'm running the settings below with latest firmware. Even during the day with bright light I see the video jump and skip a few frames on every clip.
