    You can do this with a single stream also.. just set different zones when in the "use zones and hotspots" section of the trigger tab. Then in the "Alerts" tab tell your alerts to only "fire" when certain zones are breached. It should send snapshots, make sure in the "send a sms text message"...

    Hey all.. whats the easiest way to restrict nonadmin console users from deleting clips? I know removing the "view recorded clips" from the user takes care of it.. but i want them to be able to playback clips.. is this even posiible? Thanks for any advice :)

    Cool i will try that. The camera is at the owners house but im going to have access to it friday. I noticed in another of your threads you said enable video&audio on main and sub stream. Im assuming the discovery/onvif port are not the same as the http port?

    Can you do remote viewing using camera's sub stream?

    i7-4790k would probably handle 10-15 cameras with no problem. The compression settings are in BI main settings (gear icon at top left) under webserver tab, advanced, encoder profiles

    What camera is it? Maybe try boosting the receive buffer to 5mb under video configuration tab in the cameras properties in BI.
