    I have the next gen Apple TV. Anyone know of any apps that Apple TV offers and can access a Dahua NVR ? And Yes I know I can use the iDMSS app and stream or mirror my iphone to the Apple TV.

    Well it was a thought that I had hoping that a simple set up was available. Would be nice if they made a port on the back of the NVR so the POE switch could be used to access the cameras without jumping over gators. Maybe some day the engineers will think of doing something like this.

    I am pretty happy with it so far. Been trying to get some Critters on camera but nothing has been around the past two nights. Zooming in on the grass is really clear. No doubt this will give a clear picture of a human subject. I will do a few tests in a few days once the nights warm up a little!

    Night test! Nothing fancy, just the factory settings. I used the iDMSS app to control the camera and record to file. I then transferded it to my iphone video libary and then uploaded it to you tube. Let me lnow how it looks on your end.

    They ain't getting in my boxes! All holes are plugged. Pun intended! Thread sealant on 1/2 holeplugs, silicone and rubber seal on back of junction box and hole behind j box siliconed up!

    This is not the junction box you wound use with a pole mount. This is used on flat structural surfaces.

    Personally I would not pole mount it unless the pole is really really strong! Wind would shake the shit out of it.....

    Use the PFA150 pole mount with the PFA140 water tight junction box.

    The camera L arm came with it. The junction box did not. I highly recommend getting the junction box .

    From ground to camera it's about 13' . When I zoom towards the end of the drive I will get some good pics of faces. This cam is more to catch what's going on. I am going to be installing a few more fixed cams lower at different angles to get cross coverage and better straight on views.
