    I follow another youtube video and factory reset the switch. Delete config and vlan files follow by a reboot. I then plug in the ptz to poe switch and check the power, it's only using 15.4 even though the switch shows that max power is 30W I'm lost lol

    I was given a 48 port switch. Model is 3750X, the current existing power supply that came with it is C3KX-PWR-110WAC I'll be running at max 6-8 regular cams and 1 MINI PTZ. cisco is overkill for my needs but I got the cisco for free :)

    Hmm....thanks for the comment. Right now when I'm running during daytime it seems to be ok. The lost connection did happen at night. Maybe I'll try to turn off built in IR and use the external IR and see if it loose connection too. Thanks

    When I go to settings and from the drop down, I go to log, all I see is log in, log out, save config. Is there somewhere that I am suppose to go to for other logs? I want to see which IVS rules are getting trigger and what kind, tripwire vs intrusion etc so I can tweak the camera more

    lol thanks for the confirmation. If that's the case, it's "weird", after a certain amount of time, the web GUI will timeout and auto log out so I can't see the logs.
