ok, I currently have 5 outdoor cameras around my house, all are getting old, poor night images, 2 dlink dis-2332l a dis-7010l and a ptz dlink dcs-6915 with external ir emitter all hooked up to blue iris.
looking for recommendations to upgrade, especially night time images that are plug and...
Same thing yellow -40gb even though loads of free space. Turned down the “new” folder by 100gb and works
I ended up loosing all my alerts by rebuilding the db too, right pain
All this started last week when I changed from triggered to constant record after several house break ins in the street
Follow up on the control board switches.. in case anyone Google’s in the future!
Products: DCS-6915
Please do not turn on/off the switches from their default position. These switches pertain to settings of the actual camera.
1: DSS = The DCS-6915 supports DSS, default = on
2-4: Have no...
bit of a long shot, I got hold of an older ptz cam but the user guide online and in the box doesn’t explain what the micro switches on the camera do. And I’m not sure of the default positions either. Anyone know?
Also as a newbie what’s the easiest way to hook up an external outdoor...
Solved.
Gain% in audio setting on blueiris 98% works. (Default 100%) causes distortion and clipping
I wouldnt have thought 2 % would make all the difference
hi all
yes its dlink, but I have to work with what I have!
so dlink dcs-2670l, can get video fine but audio is either not there or squeaky. I have tried all the dlink dropdown options and the find/inspect to add the camera as generic but no joy
camera firmware is latest (v2) and latest blue...
ok so the final problem!
I can't talk back on my two dlink dcs-2332l cameras, I can talk back using the dlink app so the function works but on blue iris the icon turns green but nothing comes out of camera
ok so problems with audio on this camera, the playback/ live audio is inaudible, like pops and squelching.
It's not the camera as I get audio from the native dlink app and LiveCams Pro ( app I used on iOS before I bought blue iris)
So far I have tried different dlink drivers from the drop down...
Just wondered what settings you used? I have a dcs-960l too and get video on the dlink 2130...7010h264 driver BUT NO AUDIO
Tried the rtsp port found in camera settings but doesn't help the audio
Did the op ever solve this? I get random freezes, mouse only not keyboard. Latest drivers don't help.
Going to make a clean install of win 10 but I can see that being a pain to do and reinstall everything
ok So looking for recommendations on better outdoor cam, esp night time. bullet or dome, even plz if in budget. I have power line and power supply at one cam and Poe at other. Budget ideally under £250 each cam
What's my megapixel limit over 200meg powerline? The other cam is Poe into a 1gig...
Ok think this is solved AND blue iris is innocent!
Going back to the time the vulnerability started, that was 1 day before I installed blue iris so i think it was the dlink dviewcam software, freebie that cam with the cameras.
I blocked all udp 5353 ports on my router just to be sure!
ok so new to blue iris, I used to just use LiveCampro on iPad simply port forward to each cam and live view was great. Wanted recording capability, used an old Alienware laptop, installed blue iris and lan side all worked, setup remote view via wizard and while it works perfectly, my isp wrote...
