    I sent pics of the nvr gui , and of the nvr via internet explorer. Both similar. I use the system by directly viewing nvr on a monitor and mouse attached to nvr. But since dahua have removed the hyperlink to the cams menu, is there another way into the cams menu

    I think this is equivalent to your area but my gui seems to lack that If so , is there other method via IE cos I think the cameras address 10.1.1 etc is private

    Using internet explorer now to access the nvr and it broadly seems similar to what I get in the nvr. But I guess what I want is access to the cameras own more in depth menu

    but if that fails , press the reset button 30secs whilst power still on , then release and just wait for it to do its thing ? presume it will ask me to set a user name and password in the nvr

    wittaj , the ie gui was for web address 192.168.0.108 so i think it is for the nvr not camera. whenever i have frequently connected the cam via my modem i put in the pw & im fine to alter speeds etc in camera. i know that pw cos i initialised the cam. if i do a reset via dmss , how long does...
