    Can you try to connect only 1 cam to the nvr, does it power ? You also can try to do hide the cam with something then try to listen if the IR cam switch on or not if not maybe not POE power from your nvr

    Right, no way to schedule. The only way i will suggest is to take a raspberry PI (very low consumption compare to a pc) and write a script to take snapshot on a cron task.

    Don't buy these cameras, they are for the chinese market. Please focuse on 5231r-z/5231r-ze Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z) and Dahua Starlight IPC-HDW5231R-ZE 800 meter capable ePOE Don't waste your time with them
