setting up motion/ human detection notifications on a Securefast camera

Without looking at the specs of the camera. Does it need an SD card to be installed for the recordings/notifications to be viewed?

DMSS V1.99.811 no option to disable noise reduction anymore

Oh I've noticed. Most disappointing! I've been using a "anti tin can audio" app to resolve the problem. Perhaps we will have the bugs sorted with many parts of the app, in the next update or next........! Something to look forward in the next few years. They put the IVS/Motion markers on...

    Britain is Lost

I know Britain is no longer great and many reasons it is not Great Britain, anymore! I also understand the reasons for the riots, but I feel for the police, trying to uphold the weak laws that they have to abide to. The video is very disappointing to see. Anyway......! I thought this a IP...

DMSS V1.99.811 no option to disable noise reduction anymore

Agree with the NR setting being removed from DMSS. Happened a couple of updates ago. Audio awful now! Yet again. Dahua sort it out!

DMSS Latest Update - Fooked again

I get most excited when DMSS gets updated for my Android (don't use apple devices). With the expectation that Dahua will sort the most weakest part of the system for mobile/tablet devices, for live view/playback, etc. Indeed the latest release, it sometimes forces login/email. On Android: Close...

    Dahua NVR playback problem

Cannot see that you stated numerous times that motion recording is off. Sorry for trying to help.

    Dahua NVR playback problem

You may have motion detection on, as well as IVS. Turn it off within motion detection settings and within the storage schedule. Just activate IVS and constant recording. IVS and motion detection running together will likely cause the issue your describing.

Acupick 2.0 Enabled; lots of false positives

The interface is not logical. Don't know why the Home tab is just not named settings. And remove the minor settings tab!

Acupick 2.0 Enabled; lots of false positives

Just to add. Also you can draw target areas for what you do want within the metadata settings.

Acupick 2.0 Enabled; lots of false positives

Indeed as above. Navigate to metadata and deselect what you don't want.

VideoTeknika NVR not connecting to Smart Hub Plus for CCTV

I'm guessing the the NVR is mapped to the old router. You will need to locate the network settings of the NVR. Enable DHCP. Reboot NVR and hopefully the NVR will be provided with the new IP address/gateway etc, settings, for the new router.

    Dahua NVR AI Search

Unfortunately you cannot compare an XVR (BNC analogue cameras) with the an NVR (IP/internet protocol cameras). To diagnose the issues. My XVR (7208 I2) will not display IVS or (AI) search for connected IP cameras. You stated "on customers" NVR. Are you the installer of the NVR?

modify the firmware every version of dahua NVR.

You could contact Dahua/Hikvision or even Reolink to check if they have any job vacancies?

    Um, wtf is he doing?

Any chance you Bigredfish can acquire the magic wand from the woman or man? I will buy for £2 UK pounds. Excellent tool for waving the cars past on the London orbital (M25).
  20. P

    Um, wtf is he doing?

It's obviously a magic wand then.

Missing the face detection option in my NVR dahua

As bigredfish suggested. You need to enable "AI by the recorder". The user manual for your NVR will hopefully guide you further.

    Um, wtf is he doing?

Oh my god. So many nutters around these days! Perhaps he (or her, can't tell these days) think they are magic and can make the branch disappear or they are smoking the leaves and branches.

Dahua XVR slowly not displaying analog cams

Yes indeed again. I currently have a XVR 7208 I2 just doing SMD and NVR 5216 4KS2 E, doing IVS. Both running fine. Very much agree the hybrid XVR's have disappointing limitations.

Dahua XVR slowly not displaying analog cams

Yea indeed. On a 8 ch XVR, (unit dependant). You can have 8 BNC and another 8 IP (within bandwidth limit). Not sure about the 2 BNC inputs have to have the same input as the previous poster suggested? They obviously have to be analogue CVI/TVI, etc.
  26. P

Dahua XVR slowly not displaying analog cams

Not sure what your suggesting, sorry. New XVR's that I have and install. Have multiple BNC inputs depending on channel capabilities. You can convert to IP from the last remaining BNC connection. So on a 8 channel unit for example, you can have analogue 1-7 BNC and channel 8 IP and so on. So BNC...

Only MD will Push to DMSS - Not IVS...

Hi bigredfish I understand what your suggesting. The image from the NVR is that he's using the virtual IP assignment of the NVR itself, hence the 37777 and 10.... assignments for the dahua standard communication protocol for the Dahua cameras.

Only MD will Push to DMSS - Not IVS...

Those 37777's, are the management ports?
  29. P

Check out this hot deal on a managed switch!

I'm going to buy it, especially with the extended warranty offered. Just checking from the seller if they mean a managed switch or damaged switch and it's full capabilities.
