    Less Bandwidth?

I literally just explained that. It is not complicated. Internet to modem. Modem to router. Router to switch. Switch to NVR. That is it. Every single device is WiFi in my house, with the exception of the NVR. The NVR is hooked to the switch. Which is hooked to the router. That’s the lay...

modem to router. Router to switch. Switch to NVR. keep in mind - router is a mesh router. There are 5 other stations throughout the house that boost signal. there are 16 connected devices to the router. The only one being hardwired is the switch. The only thing on the switch is the NVR.

Well - update. The routers back to sucking. Currently measuring at 15MB WIFI - no idmss open on either my wife or my phone. I’m going to say this is definitely an issue with the meshforce router. Just reordered all the ubiquiti equipment.

... idmss was open on the background of my phone. Closed the app & we're at 120MB... Is there anyway to manage it on my iphone so that it can be open in the background but not eating data? it's hard to remember to close it when I'm getting alerts regularly.

    Less Bandwidth?

yes, basement is beneath first floor - but I guess I can always add a Lite down there if necessary. Bad news - added a switch - no noticeable change in wifi speed. There's no way 12 cam's are eatting up 150MB of internet, right?

My home is 2 stories + a finished basement. I planned on putting a pro on the top level in one corner of the house. I plan on putting another pro on the middle level at the opposite side of the house. additionally, I plan to put a UniFi mesh in the backyard for outside the house (which is a...

Do Dahua NVR's have this ability? Unfortunately, I can pull up the NVR on this meshforce router - but it shows that its downloading no data... which obviously isn't right.

Is there anyway I can track how much bandwidth my IP cams are using? I have 10 4MP cams, 1 5MP cam, and 2MP Dahua PTZ. My internet is getting bogged down - any ideas on how to go about reducing bandwidth used? I've purchasing some ubiquti Pro's to put inside my home to hopefully boost my wifi...

    Dahua - Day/Night IR

it's pretty confusing to download the actual program? maybe I have an old version of the program? - I can say that the pictures on the "how to guide" do not match the program I am using - and the .exe file was quite hard to find - the link on that thread brings you to a zip file.. but the zip...

    Dahua - Day/Night IR

yeah I’m sure.Looks identical to the cameras I get from Andy & ADI. has the same QR code and all that. Whole reason I bought it is because they saw my companies website and called me and said “I see you install a lot of dahua - we now have a dahua OEM line. Want to try one?”

    Dahua - Day/Night IR

This particular cam is an LTS cam. Not one of Andy’s. Although they are both dahua OEM. I contacted my LTS rep asking for firmware update. But... I’ll tell you, this is my one cam that I agreed to test to see if we want to use LTS on normal installs - anddddd, it’s been nothing but poor...

    Dahua - Day/Night IR

Did you notice that it is a dahua OEM cam.. but it's LTS? think that makes a difference? 90% of the cams on this house are from Andy... so I would imagine they're very similar to LTS.

Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

@bp2008 so I've installed this - I need to control 5 cam's with this - Good news: when testing my sunrise and sunset, 4 cameras work perfectly. The 5th camera (which is not a dahua camera, but is a dahua OEM camera from LTS that I am testing) seemingly has no response - does not respond to...
