    Hey fenderman, I agree about the walls, but how do you get around this as far as mounting and orientation go? To mount the cameras where they are away from the walls is going to be a problem if I want the same aspect.

    I worked out how to log into my cameras and applied the backlight BLC area to center on one camera and right on the other and that made a big difference. Strangely the backlight settings had almost no effect on the two cameras that were working OK in low light

    I am trying to upload 3 images from the cameras but it is stalling on the third. If you look at cam 1 and 2 you can see that they are quite dark whereas cam 3 is quite light and clear.

    I could not find any way to export IPC configuration file. I received my file from Hikvision this morning and all is good again. They are very responsive and helpful, but there must be some other way of changing password on a camera.

    I have had so much trouble with passwords on my NVR and cameras. It would seem that once you setup your NVR password and forget it you are locked out of your cameras as well even when the password is reset on the NVR.     Thanks for the reply. I had my PC and the NVR connected to the router and could not even get the export XML to work. I got another XML file from Hikvision in China and it worked, so I have now reset my password and am back in the game.
