Introducing GoSwift Security - $99 4K Bullet Camera

Just picked one of these up to test on my hik/lts 8508k dvr. Got it working with baseline profile at the 5.3 mp resolution. AND the most important part... motion detection works, can even set zones directly on the dvr, no need to set on the camera. Im going to try some directv deca adapters to...

Can I connect a non-ip camera device to a hikvision NVR? Yes, sounds strange - but...

Maybe you can segregate the networks with vlans so they can still use the switch and fiber run.

    Review IPC-T5442TM-AS-LED (Full Color, Starlight+)

The b/w isn't using supplemental IR light, maybe adding one or getting the non white led version will be better for b/w if that's what you going to use.

Dahua releases cameras that support multiple HD over coax technologies > CVI/CVBS/AHD/TVI switchable

I know it was just one of those things where I paid extra for a nice 4k and then can't use it. Had I known ahead of time I would have gone for the HAC-HFW2402T-Z-A 4mp starlight plus which should be more sensitive.

Introducing GoSwift Security - $99 4K Bullet Camera

Ryan Im considering trying 3rd gen deca adapters to convert some of my coax runs to Ethernet. there only 15 bucks on amazon and ebay for a pair and deca runs on band E which should work just fine on rg59 and support 100mbps. just use a 12v splitter to power it with the camera

Dahua releases cameras that support multiple HD over coax technologies > CVI/CVBS/AHD/TVI switchable

I think they've had that for a while my HAC-HFW2802T-Z-A and HAC-HDW2802T-Z-A are both switchable, the only crappy part is that only do 5mp in tvi not 8.

Any plan for a IPCT branded DS-2CD2T47G1-L 4 MP ColorVu?

Unless hikvisions specs are wrong, they list the 4mp colorvu as a 1/1.8" sensor where as IPCT 4mp nighteye turrent as 1/2.7" while a test between the 4mp IPCT and 2mp dauha is good information, I would expect the bigger sensor colorvu to outperform both in color night performance.

Dahua HDCVI camera osd menu don't work

I have that issue with one my HAC-HFW2802T-Z-A, I think its dude to cheap coax I have on that run. Ill know for sure as I got a new 100ft siamese from nellys to re do it, but in the mean time I had to use a hand held UTC controller and connect it at the camera to change the settings.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I had to step up to a 24v ( went with a 40va) transformer to get mine solid, the 16v I picked up from HD wasnt enough to work perfect. Guess I have crappy wiring in this almost 40yr old house.
