I sure thought I had. I think the LIVE view is the same quality. Is this the screen that shows how I have it configured?

    Frustrate: Blur....

Can you look at my current image quality? I have installed and attempted to configure the new 2MP 5241-Z12 based on what I have learned. Not sure I have it exactly dialed in yet though. Here is a side-by-side comparison of shots from BI and the Camera itself.

That helped turn it back on again. It was the ONVIF/camera events that needed to be enabled. That was a new setting that I had mapped to and enabled inside of cameras. Thank you again.

wittaj, if I can still bother you, in my modifications I have somehow lost the ability to "trigger now" on every individual camera. Can't find out what I selected to cause this.

Outstanding! Thank you. I have met very few Technical people in my life that provide such clear, understandable answers as you have been providing. Most of the time tech folks are personally so familiar with their systems that they communicate in "tech speak". They will provide an accurate...

I am not understanding how to accomplish this: 3) Never allocate over 90% of the total disk drive to BI. edit: Is this where we set up "Storage>Folders" and set the space limit for each folder? Then add up how much is allocate to each drive making sure not to allocate over 90% to BI?

wittaj, while I wait to receive the new (refurbished ebay) PC, I thought I should do some prep research. I have two WD 2TB Purple HDD - Sata 6 on order. You advised (wisely I might add) to separate camera feeds for redundancy on separate HDD's in case of a Hard Drive failure. I thought I read...

I am laughing so hard right now. You are amazing...... I went straight into the Hikvision camera, enabled ONVIF, set a user/password, then back on BI Find/inspect. (I also enabled Use ONVIF to refresh volitale stream profiles). Substream now .03.... I'll fix my other two Hikvision cameras...

Interesting. I am doing that to add my cameras, but for a few of them I am not getting the same "Stream Profiles" feedback. While BI is doing it's "Find/inspect", it sort of stalls for a bit but comes back with a driver working for the camera. The "Stream Profiles" are only showing "Default"...

Thank you for this. I thought I had substreams configured correctly. Another question: Do you have separate HDD for your multiple cameras? I though that having one for O/S (an SSD) and then multiple HDD would decrease the chance of I/O bottle-necking when all that data was written to disk.
