IPC4a looks like it is for version without 120b WDR. I got mine from Hikvision's US site . The camera most similar to yours might be the firmware listed under DS-2CD2732F-I(S), and when you click on it it'll show the firmware, DS-2xx2_5.4.5_170123 so resolution shouldn't matter. Hikvision USA -

Hik Connect Question
Yes, but not intuitive at all and only after you install their IVMS-4200 software ...took me a while to find the answer, first you have to add a CloudP2P device then login with your hik-connect account and all your device will come up. These 2 pictures will show you where: -

You might have better luck upgrading it to the latest LTS firmware if you haven't yet, what is your build date? Your camera should have WR in the serial number so you can flash it to the Hikvision model, I did on mine. -

You probably have to lower the SUB-stream resolution to the lowest available as well on the camera. on your live view, you can see the camera when its just that camera on a full screen right? but can't see it if you split into a 3x3 layout? If so, its your sub-stream . -

Possible issues: 1. Harddrive issue, try another drive or run it out the HD connected for a day or two. 2.overheating: if the unit doesn't have a fan or stuck in a small space might lock it up, especially since you are in FL 3. You might want to lower your gain or dwdr due to the close distance. Try to enable smart IR as well. At worse, you can set it to day (color) mode then install a motion detection flood light while you wait for your starlight (or leave the lights on). Were you using default pw and ports? maybe it is the mirai/bot that logins to the machine and changes the password .if you have access to the machine, Try to change your password, change your default ports, restart the machine and reconnect with idmss again...check the log for any suspicious... -

I would try to connect the GV camera on the regular network first with a small power adapter or poe injector, see if you are able to detect it with the GV tool. Are you connecting the camera to the built-in POE switch or an external POE? with the camera connected to the back of the NVR, default and restart the NVR to see if it will bring it up. -

Live view quality poor but remote viewing perfect??
Oh I thought you were having issues with it on the computer software (which goes by IVMS 4200) on the ivms-4500 app there's a window looking icon on the bottom for you to change the live stream (fluent is substream, Clear is main stream) see if that helps after you set it to Clear. -

Thanks for the help! The only thing I found is a Keypad/Metal box thing, motion sensor, one door sensor on the back door but not on the front door, and another thing with batteries in it (maybe the siren?). I suspect the system still works as an audio alarm. (without the live monitoring) ...- Fruit
