    I'm in the UK and purchased my set from Amazon UK, contacted support because I have having a few issues and was told the same. It's pretty stupid what they say. I'm sure Amazon have purchased it from one of their distributors, obviously to sell on. So it does not make sense how they can say this.

    The nvr does not have a power brick, it has a power cable from the socket direct into the nvr. Over heating may be an issue i saw on the smart detection page I think it said 37 degrees but will need to confirm. The nvr is currently on top of a cupboard close to the ceiling.

    It happened today when I typed the IP of the nvr, it just hung on the screen and I.e was not responding, after which it beeped and restarted. What is noticed is it was recording just before that happened, don't know if it's a faulty camera. I will check the logs and see if it was the same camera...

    Hi sorry for the late reply, where would I check the resolution of the images that are being sent? The nvr that is have is 7608ni SE/p with firmware 3.0.15 Build141125, camera model is ds2cd2032, the cameras are recording at max resolution, 2048 I think it was not sure.

    Hi I'm trying to experiment with the hikvision camera I'm stumbling which to choose motion detection or intrusion detection, currently I have both enabled, have done intrusion detection today will test it out, but both seem very similar. Any people have any thoughts on this?
