    One suggestion would be to place a camera within the bush. You can paint the housing black and mount it on a 4' tall vertical black 2 inch drain pipe, and it won't be so apparent. The Z12 with an optical zoom would then be able to view plates in that direction.

    I currently have a 940 illuminator supplementing the camera's IR, which I like for it being invisible, but if the plates all change to where 730 is required then I'll go that route in spite of any distracting orange glow, darn it! ;-)

    So in your case, make the Model a 0, then the Make a 0, then the Color a 0, then the Year a 0, then the Edit button a 0, and lastly, the VIN a 0. This will make the VIN a 0, the Edit Button a 1, the Year a 2, the Color a 3, the Make a 4, the Model a 5.

    PoE Extender - 2 Cameras on 1 Cable

    The specs on my own Z12 say power consumption is 3.2W, and 10.3W with IR on. In my daytime configuration, I have the illuminator set to "ZoomPri" at 100%, and am consuming only 3.63W. The PoE splitter says the max. is 8W per device, while the splitter itself consumes <=3W. Hope this helps.
