    OK, I think I just figured this out. While outside testing the triggers and alerts my WiFi connection was dropping and reconnecting. It's probably the connection time that delays the alerts. After further testing last night the alerts are coming through much quicker (just a couple of seconds).

    The alerts are fairly quick but not instant. Sometimes around 10 secs, sometimes longer. Yes, they are push notifications. They are coming through OK, just not in a timely manner.

    Alerts are coming through from my Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-Z, albeit somewhat delayed (e.g. 10 seconds or later). If I install the EZ VIZ 3MP doorbell when the doorbell is pushed (or video triggered) is that going to come through any quicker to my mobile?

    Just in case anyone encounters this problem I cleared some of the checkbox settings on the camera directly. BI triggers and alerts now working OK.

    Edit. I applied the recent (BI) updates. Also, I'm able to manually start/stop recording and take a snapshot via BI UI. Are the camera settings (as accessed directly on the camera) for motion detection, etc. effective when using BI? I guess some of them went to default after the firmware update.

    I have another issue right now. The camera is streaming OK but BI is not picking up on triggers at all. I have one or two clips recorded from 31 Jan, which is after the firmware upgrade 30 Jan. I've rebooted the camera again but no change. Any suggestions where to start investigating?

    You are correct about Pushover (I'll deal with that later). Meantime, I cannot get push notifications (alerts) to my mobile which is set in mobile devices as "OnePlus" Is that the tag I should use in the alerts field?

    The dual dash cam is worth it in my opinion. Just the other day someone ran into the back of one of my vehicles. I have a great video of them not looking ahead, their shock at the impact, then fleeing the scene of the accident. Video on its way to the police.

    I'm using the Aukey DR02 with GPS in both my vehicles. Both are hardwired using a Nextbase kit. Using 128GB cards. Had a problem with one camera (display) and replaced by the supplier without any fuss.

    I had read user feedback that there are issues with motion detection alerts being slow, although this could be with the HikVision app. Also choppy WiFi. Possibly can be resolved with a firmware upgrade. Any experience of this?
