Hikvision DDNS new registrations no longer working after 12/16/16?
That's too bad, I don't trust their cloud service. I got a new machine, tried to register the DDNS anyways, the system said it was registered but it didn't register on www.hik-online.com/name anymore. I ended up using Dyndns for the new NVR.- n0fx

Unfortunate. I thought those international versions would be excluded but I guess they really want to get rid of these grey market units from using their resources. I really don't know what region the machines I buy from are for but they seem to work fine when you update it, the menus stay in...- n0fx

I was going to buy a new NVR from AE, my usually seller stated that Hikvision's HiDDNS will no longer allow me to register a new device domain with her NVR after 12/16/16. She stated that any camera or NVR from Hikvision that she sells won't be able to register a new device domain but the old...- n0fx

Where to get DS-2CD2332-I?
I was hoping to get them from China and pay less. I can get LTS cameras with no problems but I don't want to spend that much and don't mind about the warranty issues. I just want a reputable place that I can get a WR (world region) one. -

I actually found a way to back it up using the built-in iVMS-4500 app. If you go to devices -> + -> Generate QR Code. Just check the boxes for the machines you want to save, generate it. Save or scan the QR code on the next device, it could be iOS or Android, and it will import everything... -

Thanks, did you use the epacket tracking number? I'm just wondering if the number just doesn't work or I have to wait till it arrives in the states before it starts working. I've had that issue before where the tracking number only starts working once it gets to customs. I'll check at the end... -

Are you referring to the 1st seller, Huisun that's shipping from the US soon? I plan on ordering one this weekend to test it out. It looks like a good price for the specs and it seems that the v2 10x is working fine. Just need to make sure I use PoE+ for it, even though it only draws 12watt... -

Yeah, I saw the other thread and luckily didn't buy a sample. It looks a lot worse than the 4MP. I'm going to stick with the 4MP instead and wait a better 5MP to come out over there. LTS carries a 5MP that has 20fps and it's available now but it's about $150/each... -
