    I've had that happen too around the time I loaded the latest firmware (V3.4.82 build160818). I've noticed that if I let the last cam load in the 4 channel view first, and it'll take awhile, then open the single screen, it almost always works. Then close IVMS-4500 when it's in 4 channel view...

    X2 for Powerline. I can run at full resolution with a 4MP camera on mine. The connection light shows red but it has apparently more than enough bandwidth for one cam. Netgear Powerline 1200 from Amazon. X2 from me on not using Wifi too, was too slow even at 5Mhz.

    OK, I lied. Updated to v3.4.82 on my DS-7608NI-I2/8P remotely and everything seems to be OK. Can't find the smart events in the playback timeline but I'm sure I'm missing a setting or two somewhere. I'll play with that and Gmail when I get home.
